Click

In the plot of the terrible Adam Sandler movie Click, a magical TV remote gives Sandler’s character the ability to fast forward through parts of his life he deems boring, monotonous or painful. As he does this with more and more frequency, his life quickly unravels as the remote begins to learn and predict which parts of his life he’d like to skip over. Eliminating any opportunity for growth and development, he ends up losing everything he held dear. The lesson: What is most valuable in this life is found by understanding and accepting the hardship and pain associated with achieving and overcoming obstacles. All that being said, I’d really like to fast forward the hell out of this nonsense right now.
