Let's take this a step further. In the case of a single primary leader for an entire country, what actually changes in regards to laws, policies and funding, does not most of this have to be voted in via congress. What does putting a single face on this process do other than turn it into a drama vs. a bureaucratic process? If anything Trump has exposed the dangerous divisive nature of a single face to represent a top down government which involves thousands of people to function. It is well known that local government has more impact to your day to day life and the people and neighbourhoods you care about. He stands as the winner of the wrestling match, but his drama has brought to light what people have secretly known all along. That wrestling is fake. Unfortunately for the audience the blood being spilt is real.
